Sethu  Directed by Bala, the original Tamil film featured Vikram and Abitha in the lead roles. Huchcha The Kannada remake of 'Sethu' was directed by Om Prakash Rao and starred Sudeep and Rekha Vedavyas. Titled Huchcha  this adaptation retained the essence of the original story while infusing it with regional flavors. With Rajesh Ramanath's music and Anaji Nagaraj's cinematography, 'Huchcha' made a significant impact on the Kannada film industry when it hit theaters in 2001.


Seshu Released in 2002, Seshu brought the story of Sethu to the Telugu audience. Directed by Jeevitha Rajasekhar, the film starred Rajasekhar and Kaveri in the lead roles. With a combination of Yuvan Shankar Raja and Ilaiyaraaja's music and Hari Anumolu's cinematography, Seshu received praise for its emotional depth and captivating performances.


Tere Naam The Hindi adaptation of Sethu titled Tere Naam was directed by Satish Kaushik and featured Salman Khan and Bhumika Chawla in the lead roles. The film, released in 2003, became a massive success, primarily due to Salman Khan's compelling portrayal and the emotional resonance of the story. 'Tere Naam' left an indelible mark on Hindi cinema and remains one of the most memorable remakes of Sethu
